The Joint Committee of the Education and Training Quality Authority and the Ministry of Education held its regular teleconference meeting on Sunday, 14 October 2021 to discuss and determine the level of skills and competencies for the secondary stage examinations in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework, in the presence of officials of the Authority and representatives of the Ministry of Education.

During the meeting, a number of themes were reviewed, including the Authority's national qualification placement mechanism and the introduction of the NQF descriptors, as well as a presentation of some examples on the mechanism for determining the level of various qualifications. This is aimed at enabling representatives of the Ministry of Education to determine the level of secondary stage examinations.​
