BQA Board Meeting approves the findings of review of (10) academic programmes, placement of (5) national qualifications, institutional listing of an education institution and alignment of a foreign qualification on the NQF

The Board of Directors of the Education and Training Quality Authority held its regular virtual board meeting, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Ayman Bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyad, Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, BQA Chairman, and the presence of the Acting BQA CE, Mr. Munther Almudawi, on Wednesday, 26 January 2022.

During the meeting, the Board members were briefed on a number of reports on its agenda, and approved the findings of review of (10) academic programmes offered by higher education institutions, institutional listing of an education institution, the placement of (5) national qualifications, alignment of a foreign qualification on the NQF, and re-validation of national qualifications to be reported to the Supreme Council for the Development of Education & Training (SCDET).

The executive summary of the findings of the evaluation of performance of education and training institutions during exceptional circumstances, the updates of the national examinations, and an update on the BQA strategic objectives and budget were also discussed.​
