BQA & MoE Hold their Coordination Meeting

 

The first coordination meeting between the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) for the 2021-2022 academic year was held on Thursday, 28 October 2021, in the presence of a number of officials of the Authority and the Ministry in a continuation of cooperation and partnership.

 

The two parties discussed and followed up on common issues to both parties with regard to the education sector, particularly in view of the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 outbreak and its impact on the practices of the learning process, including evaluation of performance of schools during exceptional circumstances and adopted mechanisms for the academic year 2021-2022. Observations of schools during the evaluation process in exceptional circumstances were also discussed.

 

During the meeting, the Ministry's strategies and plans for the teachers' professional development and their training in standards of quality teaching, and the evaluation of the responsiveness of students in practical courses in technical and vocational education schools were reviewed.​
