The Vocational Provider Improvement Strategy Coordination Committee (VPIS) held its virtual third meeting of 2021 on Thursday, 28 October 2021, under the chairmanship of the General-Director of the General Directorate of Educational & Vocational Institutions Reviews of the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), Dr. Haya Al-Mannai, in the presence of the members of the Committee representing (BQA, Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the Education Group of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education & Training (SCDET), together with a number of invitees from the Ministry of Education.

During the meeting, a number of activities and reports issued by the Directorate of Vocational Reviews (DVR), Directorate of Private Schools and Kindergarten Reviews (DPS) and the Directorate of National Framework Operations (DFO), of the Education and Training Quality Authority, together with reports of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, the Labour Fund and the Ministry of Education on the achievements of the concerned sectors during exceptional circumstances since the last meeting of VPIS in 2021, were reviewed. An update on projects and development activities relating to the education and vocational training sectors have also been provided by the Education Group of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education & Training (SCDET).​
