Bahrain was elected as a board member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). A world-wide association of over 200 organizations active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education.
“Bahrain will be represented through the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training (QQA)”, said the CE of the Authority Dr. Jawaher Al Mudhahki.
She added,” Electing Bahrain confirms the efforts and the leading role of the Kingdom of Bahrain towards education development and higher education improvement on the local, regional and international levels. This was particularly significant in the level of transparency in our education development policies”.
“Bahrain gives a great priority to the human development issues and that has made the objectives of the development of education and training as essential steps to achieving those aspirations”, she said.
Dr. Jawaher Al Mudhahki – as a representative of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training – currently holds several positions in different Quality Assurance networks and organizations, such as the President of the Islamic Quality Assurance organization, the President of the ANQAAHE and board member in the Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the Arab Universities Association.
