The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Advisory Committee held its third meeting of 2026, recommended the listing of 3 training institutions, the placement of 23 national qualifications on the NQF, the alignment of 19 foreign qualifications, the re-validation of 8 national and foreign qualifications, and the archiving of 3 national and foreign qualifications.
The Committee also reviewed a proposal to re-engineer NQF processes, examined the draft validation guidelines for micro-credentials and discussed the latest developments in the higher education and vocational training sectors.
