Ronny Heintze is a Senior-Consultant at AQAS (Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkrediterung vom Studiengängen), the biggest German Accreditation agency, where he serves as Commissioner for International Affairs.
In his seven years of service he coordinated more than 100 accreditation procedures in- and outside of Germany with a special focus on Joint Programmes. His international experiences cover projects across Europe, in Russia, North-Cyprus, Oman and Brazil. He served as an expert in numerous projects of the European Union with long-term experiences in Egypt and the Republic of Moldova.
In 2016 Ronny was appointed chairman of the Working Group on Innovation in Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the European Consortium for Accreditation (ECA). He is a trained ENQA reviewer and has also served as an Agency reviewer for INQAAHE. He held teaching assignments at the University of Bonn and Erfurt and currently lectures about the United Nations at the University of Trier.
Before joining the Quality Assurance community, Ronny held executive positions at NMUN in New York, organising the world’s largest Model UN conference hosted by the United Nations. He holds a M.A. degree from the University of Bonn in Political Science, Psychology and Media Science.
