15 Teachers Seconded from Government Schools to Join the Education and Training Quality Authority

The Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, welcomed the fourth cohort of teachers seconded from government schools to join BQA. A total of 15 teachers will join the fourth cohort, and the welcome meeting was attended by Ms. Suha Saleh Hamada, Director General of Schools Affairs at the Ministry of Education; Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, Chief Executive Officer of BQA; and a number of officials from both entities.

The meeting was held as part of the joint secondment programme between BQA and the Ministry of Education, launched in 2023 to develop national talent, strengthen institutional collaboration and promote knowledge exchange, supporting efforts to enhance the quality of education and training in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The programme provides teachers with specialised professional experience through their participation in performance reviews conducted by BQA. It also promotes the exchange of expertise and the transfer of effective practices between BQA and the education sector.

The seconded teachers will begin their assignments at BQA in September 2026 and continue until the end of the 2026–2027 academic year. They will participate in performance reviews of education and training institutions as part of the joint work plan to strengthen institutional and educational performance and enhance the quality of education and training outcomes in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
